Founding partners
Michael Allen, Founding Partner

Michael has substantial experience across a broad range of industries and positions. His passion lies in Board and Senior Executive appointments, where he excels in introducing the appropriate skills, personality and attributes to promote long-term success.

Michael’s extensive search career includes time in London, where he was director of a technology focussed international search practice and then UK MD of a major international search practice.

He founded Mars in 2005. The company grew to have offices offices in the UK, the Middle East and Russia covering sectors including technology, professional and financial services, industrial, government and FMCG.

A trained accountant, Michael is also an MBA graduate. In his downtime he is a car and motorbike enthusiast who also enjoys cycling and travel.

Stuart Grenville, Founding Partner

Stuart has considerable expertise in executive search, strategic consulting and senior organisational leadership. Co-founding Mars Partners is a natural progression from previous collaborations with Michael in London and Melbourne.

In 2006 he started his own executive search business, providing corporate executive search and consulting services. With a focus on the infrastructure and services sectors, he successfully grew a client base spanning the Eastern Seaboard of Australia and NZ.

Stuart’s background is technical in nature – engineering – with an MBA completed at Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1992. His career has allowed him to live and work in various markets including Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Dallas and London.

Outside of work Stuart enjoys ocean swimming, cycling, good wine and travel.
